Blythe Danner Gets Jazzed Up

Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t the only one in her family with musical moxie. Tony Award winner Blythe Danner took to the stage for Jazz Inspired with Sag Harbor’s Judy Carmichael at the Tanglewood Jazz Festival over Labor Day Weekend to share her love of jazz, talk about performing in a band with Chevy Chasein college and even perform for the lucky live audience. Judy and Blythe have been friends since Blythe first appeared on Judy’s radio show years ago, so this Tanglewood rendezvous gave them a chance to sing their first duet together. The show will be broadcast on Judy Carmichael’s Jazz Inspired (locally Sunday’s at 10pm on 83.1 FM) in late November.
