Riverhead Town has four beaches located on the calm waters of either the Peconic Bay or the Long Island Sound. Resident permits are $15, $5 for seniors, for the season, and non-residents may purchase a day pass for $35 or a season pass for $200. Permits are required from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and they are available at the Shade Tree Center (60 Shade Tree Lane, Riverhead) or at all town beaches from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

For more information, contact the Town of Riverhead at 631-727-3200 or townofriverheadny.gov.
