On Monday, December 3, Derek Jeter joined fellow New Yorkers to help bring awareness for neuromuscular disease at the 22nd annual Muscle Team Gala in New York City. The NY Metro Muscle Team is a group of members of the NYC real estate community who’ve partnered together to raise awareness and funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
At the dinner, professional athletes and celebrities teamed up with real estate executives and MDA families to put their muscle behind the search to find treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy and related diseases. The event honored MVP and founder of the Turn 2 Foundation, Jeter, who participated in a fireside chat with Master of Ceremonies and legendary NYC sportscaster, Russ Salzberg.
