“What did you catch?” Nothing is more exciting than feeling that pull of the reel, especially if you’re a kid, and it’s your first haul.

After reviewing the many photo submissions of the fish caught this summer, our staff at The Independent chose the winning photo from each category (under 10 years old, and 10 years old and above). Thank you to everyone who participated!
