ZIMA! Is Back

Want to share a touch of magic with friends and family? The Neo-Political Cowgirls is back with ZIMA! — its annual outdoor theatrical scavenger hunt. Answer riddles, find clues, with a mystical cast of characters in this winter delight.

ZIMA! returns to Montauk Village on Sunday, February 9, from 1 to 2:30 PM. Kate Mueth, founder of NPC, calls it “a magical embrace of the East End’s winter beauty where audiences go on a journey in search of hidden characters and vignettes through town to discover answers to a mythological riddle.”

The performance is created in partnership with The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation, which recently received a $1-million anonymous donation, and sponsored in part by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce and On Montauk.

“ZIMA! is a unique must-do winter activity for all ages that explores the depths of dreams, Jungian psychology, and imagery inspired by the season,” states Mueth.

Tickets can be purchased at a discount in advance at www.npcowgirls.org or on February 9 at the start of the event at the Montauk Village Green gazebo. Advance tickets are $10 for students, $15 for adults, and at the door $15 students, $20 adults. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served after the journey has been completed at the Montauk Playhouse from 2 to 4 PM, where the answer to the riddle will be revealed.
