Riverhead Town beaches and beach parking lots will remain open with strict safe distancing protocols in place, but bathrooms and playgrounds are closed. As no 2020 seasonal permits are available for purchase, all 2019 parking permits will be honored until further notice and are required through November 15. Riverhead police officers are posted at each beach, allowing entrance only to those with valid permits and monitoring proper social distancing and face coverings.
