Rock star Jon Bon Jovi recently found himself in the spotlight, not for his music, but for his heroics after saving a woman in crisis from jumping off a pedestrian bridge. The East Hampton resident was filming a music video in Nashville on Sept. 10 when he saw and approached a woman standing on the ledge of the John Seigenthaler Bridge. Heart-wrenching surveillance footage released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police showed the legendary rocker, 62, alongside another woman, pulling the individual away from danger and helping her to safety as she appeared to be about to jump, likely saving her life.
“A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night,” the police department said, praising his role in preventing a potential tragedy on X.
Bon Jovi, who established the JBJ Soul Foundation in 2006 to offer solutions to homelessness, poverty, and hunger for families across the US, remained with the woman, offering support as they slowly walked away from the ledge together.

She said: “It is fame that can at times feel like prison. So, when you don’t see me on red carpets, and when I disappear until I have art to share, that’s why.” Despite her global recognition, 43-year-old Beyoncé tries to maintain a sense of normalcy for herself and her family, choosing quieter moments in places like the Hamptons.

Sagaponack funnyman Jimmy Fallon is adjusting to changes at NBC as his popular “Tonight Show” cuts back from five nights a week to four, with reruns airing on Fridays. The decision comes amid broader budget cuts at the network, including the elimination of the house band on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” according to industry reports. Despite the reduced schedule, Fallon, 49, who took over the “Tonight Show” in 2014 remains a fixture on late-night TV, with his show renewed through 2028.
