Sylvester Stallone made a splash in the real estate world with a reported all-cash $25 million purchase of a property in East Hampton Village as a generous gift for his three daughters. The actor was so determined to get the home, he signed a contract and paid a hefty deposit before he ever saw it in person, having only video-toured the place using FaceTime, according to The New York Post. The sprawling eight-bedroom property came with a hand-curated collection of art, antiques, and rugs, and sits on 1.12 acres with typical luxury features including a heated pool with a sun deck, and a circular spa, “Behind the Hedges” reports. The Hollywood star — who resides in a $35 million lakefront mansion in Palm Beach with his wife, Jennifer Flavin — is said to have purchased the home with his three daughters—Sophia, 28, Sistine, 26, and Scarlet, 22—in mind. Sophia and Sistine live in New York City, and all three sisters star in The Family Stallone, a Paramount+ reality show that offers viewers a glimpse into their glamorous lives. The latest season of the show, which aired in early 2024, followed Sophia and Sistine making the big leap from Los Angeles to NYC. “The biggest misconception is that New Yorkers are mean. Los Angeles people are a little more snotty, but I think New Yorkers are much friendlier!” Sistine shared, according to TimeOut. Sophia added, “It’s true that it’s easy to feel lonely here in some circumstances, but I do think that the city gives you great opportunities to connect and meet new people.”
Southampton homeowners Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently gave Architectural Digest an exclusive tour of their stunning Upper East Side townhouse. The married duo, who have been co-hosting ABC’s LIVE with Kelly and Mark since 2023, opened up about their life off-camera and how they spend their time when they’re not working or filming together. Now navigating the empty-nest phase with their youngest son, Joaquin, a senior in college, the couple embraced the change without completely letting go of the past, revealing how they’ve left their kids’ rooms nearly untouched hoping to encourage visits. As for themselves, they have no plans to leave their beloved home. “I don’t want to sound morbid,” Ripa joked, “but they’ll have to carry me out of here feetfirst because I have gotten good and comfortable in this house.” The vibrant townhouse was designed by renowned interior designer William Sofield, and the couple even traveled with Sofield to Paris, returning with chandeliers and striking Art Deco pieces. The home’s media room has doubled-up as Consuelos’s cigar room its own special ventilation system that Ripa described as “amazing.”

Ina Garten isn’t letting her feud with Martha Stewart’s simmer. The Barefoot Contessa star addressed Stewart’s recent comments about their supposed falling out, denying the accusations during a Dec. 5 live Q&A with People magazine. “Let’s just say her story isn’t exactly accurate,” Garten, 76, said when asked about Stewart’s assertion that the two stopped talking after Stewart’s prison sentence in 2004. She added pointedly, “And, you know, that was 25 years ago. I think it’s time to let it go.” The tension stems from Stewart’s remarks, made during various interviews, including on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she claimed Garten distanced herself after the highly publicized legal troubles. The two culinary icons reportedly first connected in the 1990s in the Hamptons, where Garten once contributed a column to Stewart’s lifestyle magazine, Martha Stewart Living. In Garten’s memoir Be Ready When the Luck Happens, released this October, she wrote that they lost touch when Stewart relocated to Connecticut—a version of events Stewart has repeatedly refuted.
